Six essential steps towards motivation:

Low energy and lack of motivation lately? During session transformational times self motivation can be lost, consumed by anxiety or be put on the back burner. Whatever the case may be you’re most likely not alone. To muster motivation is a skill that must be practiced consistently and I hope this list lights a spark within towards enhancing daily drive and ambition!

  1. SET SMALL DAILY AND WEEKLY GOALS; Personally, what lights a motivational fire within me is writing down everything I wish to attain. When I can physically see my tasks at hand I feel more of a responsibility to cross them off my list. This keeps me accountable and I feel like I owe it to myself to finish everything my heart desires. 
  2. STOP OVERTHINKING. JUST DO; We can easily convince ourselves to choose inactive over active. This can stem from fear of failure, lack of self awareness or confidence. Whatever it may be try to put your false beliefs into perspective. Don’t think of what can go wrong, instead move with positivity and just do. Take a leap of faith, you never know until you execute. 
  3.  KEEP POSITIVE COMPANY; We are who we surround ourselves with. There is strength in numbers and a motivated friend can not only keep you accountable but subconsciously pass along the courage you never knew you needed. 
  4. VISUALIZE THE BIG WIN; If you cannot see it you cannot achieve it. If you don’t believe in yourself no one else will. Visualization builds courage and fosters purpose which inspires motivation.
  5. MINDSET; Dream Big but be realistic and flexible in your approach. Try not to overwhelm your mental with more than you can handle in the span of 24 hours. Commit to one or two motivational tasks a day and build accountability.
  6. BE PRESENT AND FIND JOY IN THE JOURNEY; Starting is hard but maintaining is even more difficult. When we refocus our energy and shift are fixed negative mindsets to just purely being present we tend to enjoy the process a bit more. Show gratitude for your abilities, opportunities and time granted. There is delight in the voyage. Live it!
