Self-love is ebb & flow. You won’t love everything about yourself every day & that’s ok! But on those tough days, please remember the following keys!
What are you most proud of? Write it down! And don’t be shy … even the most minor accomplishments are worth noting & feeling incredibly proud about.
Let go. Release anger, resentment, pain, mistrust in self or any and all outdated ideals. You cannot fully love yourself if you’re harboring.
Inner dialogue. How we speak to ourselves is just as important as how we speak to others. How can we live in a positive space when negativity constantly runs through our minds? Please remember you can stop these thoughts dead in their tracks. Makes for a much happier existence.
You’re worthy of rest! Not when you feel you have been overworked.. you deserve it simultaneously. Take breaks when your spirit says so; you deserve it.
Commit to slow & steady growth. Progress is progress at any speed; go at the pace that brings you more joy than stress.
Boundaries. We are much happier when we listen to our needs and hold people accountable. You’re capable of standing firm in your belief system.
Do things daily that bring you joy. That hike you love to take & that book you love to read, do it! Fueling yourself will only make you more pleasant.
