Diluting Potential?

Diluting Potential?

Do you find yourself belittling your abilities to make others more comfortable? Do you find yourself belittling your abilities to make YOURSELF more comfortable?? If so, you’re not alone! Imposter Syndrome could and most likely plays a huge role in why you choose to do this to yourself.

So how do we stop ourselves from further self-sabotage?? Here are a few keys I use to keep my self-esteem high and potential ever Blooming ….

Self-awareness is the first step; When we can recognize what we are doing to ourselves at the moment, it allows us to reroute our fixed mindset and sabotage behavior.

Making mindfulness and everyday act will not only help you reroute your negative thoughts but will bring clarity to almost everything you do. Living in the present is a sure way to practice mindfulness. When we are in the NOW, we make overall better choices.

Communicate when you feel the urge to self-sabotage, if it’s to a friend, therapist, or even yourself out loud. When we hear our thoughts and what we are about to do to ourselves, we have more control of the present.

Look before you leap. Take a beat, and rethink your next move … is this beneficial for me today, Tomorrow, and in the not-so-near future?

Making small changes leads to significant results. Start with trading one negative thought about yourself daily for a positive one. There’s power in shifting and seeing yourself in a new light.

Fuel your passions! What are you good at? What do you love? What lights a fire within you? Do those things daily; they feed your confidence more than you know.

Overall understanding your emotions, the root of your feelings, and proceeding with mindfulness will immensely help you on your path to living your full potential; YOU GOT THIS!
