From one anxious individual to another I truly understand the daily ebbs and flows of our condition. You’re not alone in this Mental Health journey and I hope to lend some comfort along the way!

Below is a reminder to reclaim your mind when you feel anxiety rearing its unforgiving head …

Ask yourself:

  • What is real and what is my anxious brain?
  • Are these MY feelings or someone else’s?
  • Am I safe right now? If so I have nothing to be anxious about
  • What can I control?
  • Is my anxiety hurting this moment of being present?
  • What can I do in this moment to feel better??
  • What’s the worst that can happen??

Will what Im worried about affect me deeply in an hour? Tomorrow? In a few months from now? if not, LET IT GO!

Remind yourself that this feeling will pass and it does not define who you are! You will get through this episode of anxiety!
